The 43rd annual Meriden Daffodil Festival, one of New Haven county’s most popular springtime events, is just around the corner! The 2023 festival will take place at Hubbard Park on April 29th & 30th, and will feature a variety of family friendly activities over a stunning backdrop of blooming daffodils.

One of the highlights of the festival is the annual Daffodils on Parade. The 34th annual parade will kick off on Saturday, April 29th at 11:30am, and will feature floats, marching bands, and community groups. A must see at the festival!

The festival also features a large juried craft show each day, touted as “New England’s Most Beautiful Craft Fair,” which will be open from 10am-7pm on Saturday and 10am-5pm on Sunday.

Festival-goers can also enjoy the carnival midway with rides and games, an action zone with family entertainment, a variety of food stands serving up delicious treats, live music on multiple stages each day, Daffodil Dash 5k & Kids Fun Run on Sunday at 9am, and so much more!

Parking for the festival is available at the Meriden Mall, Platt High School, and Lincoln Middle School with free shuttle service from each location.

Be sure to check the festival’s website for a complete schedule of events during the weekend.
